1.The short version

LunarAI stores the minimum it needs to do its job, keeps it while the bot is in your server, and deletes it when the bot leaves. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

2.What the bot collects

• Discord IDs — your user ID, the server ID and the channel ID, so the bot knows where to reply and which settings to apply.
• Message content you send to the bot — a prompt in a designated channel, a mention, or the text of a slash command.
• Conversation memory — recent messages in a conversation, so replies follow on from what was said before.
• Server settings — your custom prompt, chosen response channels and selected AI model.

3.What it does not collect

• Your Discord password, token, email address or payment details — the bot never sees these.
• Direct messages between you and other people.
• Voice audio.
• Anything in channels the bot cannot see.

4.Why it collects it

Only to make the features work and to keep your server's settings between restarts. The data is not used to profile you, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

5.Who else sees it

To generate a reply, the bot sends your prompt and the recent conversation to the AI provider currently selected for your server: OpenAI (GPT-OSS), NVIDIA (Nemotron) or Google (Gemma). Those companies process that text under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Do not send the bot anything you would not want a third party to process — passwords, tokens, payment details or personal information about someone else.

Everything also passes through Discord itself, under Discord's privacy policy.

6.How long it is kept

Conversation memory is kept only as long as it is useful for the conversation, and is cleared the moment anyone runs the reset command. Server settings are kept while the bot is in your server. Remove the bot and its stored settings and memory for that server are deleted.

7.Getting your data removed

Remove LunarAI from your server and its stored data for that server is deleted. If you want data removed sooner, or want to know what is stored about you, email lukemizzimay@gmail.com from an address we can tie to your request, or ask on Discord. Include your Discord user ID and the server ID so the right records can be found.

8.Security

Access to the bot's data is limited to its developer, and it is stored on infrastructure with standard access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information into a Discord bot — this one or any other.

9.Children

The bot is not directed at anyone below Discord's minimum age for their country. If you believe a child under that age has had data stored, contact us and it will be deleted.

10.Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the bot changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
