1.The short version

Lunar Welcome stores the minimum it needs to do its job, keeps it while the bot is in your server, and deletes it when the bot leaves. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

2.What the bot collects

• Discord IDs — user, server, channel, role and message IDs.
• Levels and XP — message counts and the score derived from them, used for levels and leaderboards.
• Server settings — welcome and leave channels and messages, welcome card design, reaction roles, starboard and counting configuration.
• Feature entries — giveaway entries, poll votes, suggestions and their votes.
• Birthdays — the day and month a member chooses to give the bot, if the birthday feature is enabled. Providing one is optional.

3.What it does not collect

• Your Discord password, token, email address or payment details — the bot never sees these.
• Direct messages between you and other people.
• Voice audio.
• Anything in channels the bot cannot see.

4.Why it collects it

Only to make the features work and to keep your server's settings between restarts. The data is not used to profile you, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

5.Who else sees it

The bot runs on Discord's platform, so all data passes through Discord under its own privacy policy. Data is stored on the server infrastructure the bot is hosted on. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone except where the law requires it.

6.How long it is kept

Levels, settings and feature entries are kept while the bot is in your server. Finished giveaways and polls are cleared once they are no longer needed. Remove the bot and the stored data for that server is deleted.

7.Getting your data removed

Remove Lunar Welcome from your server and its stored data for that server is deleted. If you want data removed sooner, or want to know what is stored about you, email lukemizzimay@gmail.com from an address we can tie to your request, or ask on Discord. Include your Discord user ID and the server ID so the right records can be found.

8.Security

Access to the bot's data is limited to its developer, and it is stored on infrastructure with standard access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information into a Discord bot — this one or any other.

9.Children

The bot is not directed at anyone below Discord's minimum age for their country. If you believe a child under that age has had data stored, contact us and it will be deleted.

10.Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the bot changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
